This weekend Carmarthen Quins under 11's travelled to Felinfoel where they faced their toughest opponents yet this season.
It was a quick paced game, with both teams equally matched in strength and skill. The Quins, captained by Gruff, started strongly with Fin breaking through the line and securing the first points on the board. The Quins had to put their defending skills to the test with Cai, Gulliver and Jesse making crucial tackles to prevent the opposition gaining territory. This provided Owain D, Sam and Iestyn with the opportunity to turn over the ball making way for Elis T, Owain H and Fin to counter attack.
The Quins battled to the very end securing two late tries, finishing at full time with a win of 15-5.
