Carmarthen Quins under 11's captained by Elis T played away to Burry Port this weekend. 
The young Quins played to their strengths showing great team spirit in extremely wet conditions, controlling possession and territory for the majority of the game.
Steffan J, Osian, Owain D and Gruff dominated the rucks in both attack and defence bringing the opposition to a standstill. This provided a clean ball for Steffan R and Gulliver to release the backs, Elis T, Jesse, Cai and Lona to counter attack. 
The young Quins demonstrated fine perseverance and maturity when things weren't going their way, ending the game with a 10-10 draw. Men of the match were Jesse (backs) and Owain D (forwards).
