Successful District Representation

The Mighty Quins conveyor belt continues to work. Last week we were thrilled to provide the majority of the starting 15 for Carmarthen and District Under 15s side (pictured)  and also representation in the Mynydd Mawr and Dinefwr Under 15s.

This week its the turn of the Under 11s following a number of training sessions 13 players from our under 11s and one from the under 10s have made it through to represent Carmarthen and District Under 11s.

The section is extremely proud of all players who have been selected to represent the district on behalf of Carmarthen Quins RFC.

For the Under 15s we have

Mostyn James, Owain Thomas, Josh Elvy, Gethin Davies, Guto Phillips, Ifan Knott, Matthew Williams, Jac Davies, Ben Proctoer, Ellis Thomas (Quins Under 14s), Macsen James and Osiann Jones. Gruff  Williams, Elis Price and Jesse Tyler are also included in the squad.  Morgan Bending and Owain Powell also represented Mynydd Mawr and Dinefwr.

For the Under 11s we have

Gwinnett Evans, Ben Morgan, Rhodes Rees, Harri Davies, Reuben Phillips, Ollie Davies, Odhran Humphrey’s, Ceiran Jones, Griff Lewis, Harry Wigglesworth, Rhys Loxdale, Finn Bartley, Cays Jones and Macs Hastings (who is currently under 10s).

With such a large representation it is testament to the coaches in giving the players the best possible start but also the endeavour the players have put in to give them a chance to represent the district. Hopefully this will be the springboard to further honours for all involved in the future.

One thing is for sure those players who attended the trials and were unsuccessful (and again there were quite a few of them) are already putting their claims forward for future recognition and are working that little bit harder.

With all the section the players typify the club motto Llwyddiant Trwy Ymdrech/Success Through Endeavour.

Congratulations all involved.
