Mini's to return to training

We are now able to share more details on when our Mini Section (Under 7s to Under 11s) will return to training.

The current plan is they will return on Sunday 6th September at 2.30pm for one hour

Important Information

Returning Players

All attendees’ parents must have completed the World Rugby Online Module which can be found here https://www.playerwelfare.worldrugby.org/covid-19-courses

24 hours prior to training can all parents also complete the online covid symptom checker which can be found on the WRU Gamelocker where you registered your child. This will allow the coaches/managers to know how many will be attending so they plan and ensure a safe training hour.

Parents are asked to drop off their child and then leave only to return to pick them up one hour later. The children will be met by a coach/team manager and advised where the hand sanitisation points are and the entrance and exit points to the pitches.

All children to make sure they have washed their hands before attending and bring their own drinks cup.

Interested Players.

We welcome all new attendees even if it is just as a taster session(s) to see how they enjoy before hopefully registering with us. We have availability from under 7's upwards.

We ask that all parents complete the World Rugby Covid Module on the link above and bring with them their completed certificate or email a copy to the respective coach or manager.

We also ask that they do a manual symptom check before hand and if the child is symptom free advise the coach/manager before hand.

On drop off we will ask you just to confirm the contact details and we will record what group they are in so should anyone develop symptoms we can advise you ASAP.

Everything we are implementing is in line with recognised and agreed procedures and protocols and is for the safety of all involved, which is paramount to us as a club. We will monitor announcements from the Welsh Rugby Union and Welsh Government and amend any arrangements accordingly ensuring the safety of all involved.

The Quins is an inclusive rugby club and is signed up to the Welsh Rugby Union Half a Game initiative ensuring all players will get at least half a game (obviously when games re-commence).

Any enquiries please use the contact us tab on the sections website and select Recruitment/Registration https://carmarthen.rfc.wales/contact-us or look us up on Facebook and message us on there https://www.facebook.com/carmquinsrfcminisection

We look forward to welcoming you all back and welcoming new players.

Up the MIGHTY QUINS!!
